Something Special
A special mention to Denzil Francis of Manchester Tigers Golf Society. Denzil had travelled all the way from Leicester to be with us and was a last minute addition to the starting line up. Hosted by Dave Christian, Denzil gets to claim the prize of a VW Polo for his hole in one on the third hole. Not bad after starting with an 8 on the first.

May I take this opportunity to say thank all the members and your guests for playing and supporting Saturday’s Invitation Day.
A special thanks to all the Committee, the Trust and Green Keepers, who once again worked tirelessly to make Altrincham Golf Club the best invitation day in the area.

Massive congratulations to Denzil Francis our guest from the south who went home dreaming of the car he had just won by making a hole in one on the 3rd.

A special mention to Norman Crowther of S Brown Engineering for Sponsoring the 1st tee and again getting later in the day as the Compare for the presentation when the rest of us have knocked off to enjoy drinks with guests.
Thank you to Ian Wood of Volkswagen Altrincham for providing the display Car and also providing gifts for auction which raised over £100 for Prostate Cancer UK.
Overall another fantastic invitation day at Altrincham Golf Club in partnership with Trafford Leisure. A day that we should all be very proud of.
