Unfortunately, we are still awaiting an announcement from Trafford Leisure as to when and how the course will be opened.
This is disappointing to all members and visitors alike and we appreciate you understanding during this challenging time but we hope to be back on the course real soon.
To those that are able to play other courses today, welcome back and play safe.
Volunteers are taking to the course today and tomorrow trying to help the limited staff spend time on the heavy machines. Although golf may be played in a restricted format from Wednesday 13th May, there is yet to be confirmation of the course opening for business from Trafford Leisure.
Many thanks to all the volunteers and those that will be working again tomorrow.
Following the Government announcement Trafford Leisure has confirmed that ALL Leisure facilities managed under UK Active, which includes Altrincham Golf Course, are to close from 20/3/2020 evening until further notice.
Please follow us on facebook to keep in touch during this tough time.

Divot Party Final 2019
Congratulations to Sasha Neersoo Nett 70
Sasha who unwittingly qualified for the Divot Party Trophy through his determination to make sure the Club Championship course preparation went ahead, so much so he did it single handed. In tough conditions with several winter greens Sasha was able to best Ged Grogan and Stu Mason (both Nett 71) by just one stroke.
